Hearthline — Where Family Conversations Begin
A small, dedicated team in Chiang Rai offering gentle workshops and organising sessions that help families communicate with greater care and keep meaningful records of the things that matter.

Started with a Letter Left Unsent
Hearthline grew out of a simple observation: many families have conversations they mean to have but never quite get to. Important things get postponed, records go unorganised, and the daily busyness of life quietly fills in the spaces where honest connection might otherwise live.
Founded in Chiang Rai in 2019 by a small group of educators and community facilitators, Hearthline set out to create unhurried, accessible spaces where adults could build practical communication skills and bring order to their household documents — without judgment, pressure, or any expectation of prior knowledge.
We have since welcomed participants from across the region — Thai families, long-term expats, retirees, and people going through significant life changes who simply wanted a thoughtful place to begin. Every session is designed to be general and educational; nothing we offer substitutes for qualified professional advice, and we are always clear about that.
Our Mission
To make gentle, practical communication learning available to any family that wants it — without clinical language, without pressure, and without promises we cannot keep.
Our Vision
Families across northern Thailand building the communication habits and organised records that give them greater clarity and calm — one honest conversation at a time.
Our Values
Honesty about our scope. Kindness in every interaction. Respect for each person's pace. And a genuine belief that small, thoughtful steps make lasting differences.
The People
A Small Team with a Sincere Purpose
Each member of our team brings a background in education, community facilitation, or organisational support — and a shared commitment to warm, non-pressured learning.

How We Work
Standards We Hold Ourselves To
These are not marketing promises — they are practical commitments that shape every session, every written resource, and every conversation at Hearthline.
Clearly Defined Scope
We state plainly what each session covers and what it does not. No session is presented as therapy, mediation, legal advice, or any regulated activity.
Participant Privacy
Personal information shared in sessions is held in confidence and never discussed outside the facilitation team. Our full privacy approach is detailed in our Privacy Policy.
Prepared Facilitators
All Hearthline facilitators complete an internal preparation programme covering educational facilitation techniques, participant welfare, and referral procedures for situations beyond our scope.
Regular Review of Materials
Workshop content, prompt cards, and guides are reviewed and refreshed regularly to remain relevant, accurate, and appropriately scoped for our educational role.
Transparent Referral Practice
When a participant's needs go beyond what Hearthline can appropriately address, we offer calm, respectful signposting to qualified professionals and official bodies — always without pressure.
Participant Feedback Culture
We invite feedback after every session and take it seriously. Participants who want to share thoughts — positive or otherwise — are given an easy, low-pressure way to do so.
Family Communication Learning in Chiang Rai
Northern Thailand has a strong tradition of close-knit family life, and Hearthline was built to honour that while acknowledging that modern families — wherever they come from — sometimes need a fresh set of skills and tools. Our workshops draw on established educational facilitation approaches, adapted for the multicultural context of Chiang Rai's international and Thai resident community.
The Heart-to-Heart Conversation Guide is grounded in general communication principles used widely in adult education: listening well, framing thoughts with care, and approaching difficult subjects at a pace that feels manageable. The Family Memory and Records Folder session applies straightforward administrative organising methods to household documents — something many families find genuinely useful but rarely find structured support for.
Our Caring Community Membership extends these ideas into an ongoing peer learning format, where members share general experiences, access printed resources, and join regular group workshops. Everything remains within the scope of general education. Hearthline does not provide individual professional advice of any kind, and we refer participants to appropriate authorities and qualified practitioners whenever that is the right step.
